Grandpa waiting for us while we went up the stairs to see the view
View from dinosaur mouth
We went on the train and watched the wagon go by.
Everyone but Melissa and I went on the Ferris wheel and really enjoyed it. Then later Melissa wanted to go on the Ferris wheel so she tried it and loved and decided it was her favourite thing and kept wanting to go on it again.
Steve really enjoyed playing pool with an RCMP at the pool hall. My husband’s father used to play pool in this pool hall before it was moved to Heritage Park.
Then after looking at some of the buildings the kids went on the rides some more. There was an arcade and Steve won a nice large stuffed iguana for Melissa and grandpa won a large stuffed dragon for Kiana.
We walked through the section with the dinosaurs. Of course one of the favourite parts for the kids was the gift shop.
Taking a rest
This elephant is little too big for my collection
We stopped at a dollar store and Kyle thought it was so wonderful all the things you could get for a dollar, he bought lots of things with his own money. Lisa and Steve bought a new lap top computer (good price and no PST). We had a great dinner at Red Lobster and Kyle and Kiana are so sophisticated that they had escargot.
Some fun and relaxation after the zoo
