It was rainy in Anaheim when we left for Long Beach to get to our cruise on Carnival Paradise. When we arrived by car at the cruise terminal it was so windy we felt like we were going to be blown away. When we walked across the gangway to get onto the ship it was raining so hard and the wind was blowing so hard we could hardly walk and we got soaking wet. The staff were handing out towels as we boarded. We got something to eat and were glad when we could get into our rooms and out of our wet clothes. We were scheduled to go to Catalina and Ensenada, instead because there was a major storm the destination was changed to go to Cabo San Lucas.
Because we had to travel so much further than anticipated we had to cruise at a fast speed causing vibration which bothered Steve and Ches. We still enjoyed a good supper and show

It was rainy and windy so did not spend much time outside. We looked around the ship, played board games, watched movies on TV in room, enjoyed 3 nice meals in the dining room and a good live show in evening. It was formal night and we all dressed up and Lisa and Steve got formal family pictures done
