International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS)

We all went to IMAS and there were 2 busloads of school children about age 6-7 and they were very well behaved. There was a hallway full of pictures relating to torture with information about each picture, interesting, but depressing
There is one room set up like a church and is full of stained glass windows, the windows were beautiful and the room had a peaceful feeling

The most fascinating exhibit was Science on a Sphere (SOS) this entails a movie shown on a sphere. We sat in on the show for the school kids. The kids were cute with their oohs and aahs every time the sphere changed to something else. They made the sphere look like the earth, moon and other planets. They showed the earth with the hurricanes, at night, in the daytime, they followed a shark and turtles migrating. Each planet looks totally different in color and landscape, and you could really see the craters.

Another gallery had variety of different things, masks, ornaments, ancient paintings, furniture and modern paintings.
