Tyrell Museum & Drumheller

Prehistoric fish

It rained at night and in the morning. We all piled in the van and headed off for Drummheller to see the dinosaurs. The Tyrell Museum is a huge building full of dinosaur bones put together and set up in natural scenarios. It is interesting and nicely organized museum. After a not that great lunch we went to a shop that sells geostones and fossils. We bought some interesting souvenirs.

Then we went to the gift shop where there is a big 86-foot cement dinosaur that you can climb up to the mouth and look out. The grandkids and I went up to the top (about 125 stairs) and the others took pictures of us.
