Cabo San Lucas Cruise Jan 19, 20 & 21

Jan 19 The day was sunny and warm but we got wet taking the tender to Cabo San Lucas. Ches walked around and shopped with us for awhile and then went back to the ship. We collected charm bracelets and the went to different Diamonds International stores and collected charms for them. Lisa, Steve, Kyle and Melissa enjoyed buying different souvenirs. Kyle got a money clip, bracelets, and Ches game and Ches got a ring.

Jan 20 The last day was sunny but windy and the cruise was very rough which bothered everyone but Lisa and I, and we found the best thing was to stay around the middle of the ship. The pool was not available but Melissa enjoyed spending most of the day in the hot tub. The ship kept getting rougher and half the crew were seasick. Lisa and I were the only ones to go to the dining room for supper, everyone else spent the evening lying on the bed watching TV, and the live show was cancelled.

Jan 21 It was rough and rainy. We spent a lot of hours in the library waiting to get off the ship, this is one time I was not happy to have extra time on a ship. Originally we were supposed to get back to Long Beach in the morning, but because of the change of plans we did not get back and dock until 5 pm. We were worried that Lisa, Steve and kids would miss there plane home. We were with the group that got off first. Fortunately they just managed to catch their plane. We had our car and had to drive about 200 miles back to Yuma and had terrible weather for most of the trip, there was snow in the higher elevation and I was very nervous and glad when we got to the lower desert and dry weather. It did not turn out to be the best cruise for Lisa, Steve and Melissa's first cruise.
