We took a bus about 1 hour ride to a walled city high on a mountain. The scenery was very nice with rolling hills with crops and vineyards. When we got there we were dropped off on the street, not a bus stop. We looked around and had lunch. When we decided to go back to Siena and went to where the bus let us off we just missed our bus. We waited a long time and finally a bus came along but it did not go directly to Siena and we had to transfer. We were not sure where to get off but one of the passengers was getting off at the transfer point so helped us. We got off by the side of the road and a short time later a bus came and we got back to Siena with no problem.
