We took the train from Vernazza to La Spezia, and transferred to another train, then we had to change trains at Pisa (which we did not know) but managed okay and went on to Florence. We took a taxi to our hotel Casa Santa Nome di Gesu a monastery. After we settled in we walked a short distance to Pitti Palace.
