We walked over to the Duomo, but we did not go inside. We did some shopping. Then we went back to the bed and breakfast and put our laundry in a suitcase and walked about 1/2 mile to the laundromat. We did a load of laundry for 11 euros for one load. There was a downpour of rain while we were in the laundromat, but it stopped by the time we were finished. We had a quiet afternoon and were looking forward to going to Rome. In the evening we went for a walk and noticed an escalator going down a long hill so decided to see where it went. When we got to the bottom of the hill after many escalators we found out we were across the street from the train and bus stop where we were going to catch a bus for Rome the next day. This meant we did not have to coordinate where or when to catch a bus to get to the bus station like we had the day before. Instead all we had to do was take a short walk and then down the escalators.
