We took a bus to the bus station and then took another bus from Florence to Pogabonsi where we changed to a bus to San Gimignano. It was a very scenic ride with trees, crops, and vineyards. As usual it was not easy to find La Casa Giovanna Bed and breakfast and it had a lot of steps. It was nice and had a balcony. We walked around the city and shopped for souvenirs. We really enjoyed the town, the buildings, views of the countryside, the little shops and the nice things for sale. We had some delicious lasagne at a cafeteria. We enjoyed the patio and there was even an Agatha Christie book for me to read.
